Hansel & Gretel
Hansel and Gretel was a one-hour adaptation of Humperdinck’s opera adapted for the students of Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama with an updated inclusive and accessible libretto for young people.
The production took inspiration from colouring books and wooden building blocks which were rotated and rearranged to create different locations and scenes. The set was constructed from repurposed cardboard and props and costumes were sourced from RWCMD to ensure a sustainable and environmentally conscious production.
